When the inevitable market failure leads to an implosion of the health insurance industry, do we bail the insurers out or finally switch to a more efficient single-payer system?

Yes, because competition between companies is always bad for the consumer. Just like fluoride is bad for your teeth. And Calcium is bad for your bones.
Yes
Well Wall Street and the Banks are doing the SAME dirty deals that caused their collapse in the 1st place, Just that There is an Army of Lobbyists on the hill blocking reform. Same goes for the insurance Co.s they have already spent over $84Billion to lobby congress against reform that would lower their profits by 9%, So this would mean the CEO.s would have to settle for $110,000,000 bonuses instead of their usual $200,000,000 every year. The thought of 3000 Americans dieing EVERY MONTH, That is = to a 9-11 EVERY MONTH does not concern them . They need that extra $90,000,000 to pay off congress and still clear $110,000,000 . They are murderers and so is every congress person who votes against reform!
